American Pipe & Plastics, Inc is a full-line manufacturer of quality PVC conduit, fabricated systems and related products for fiber optics used in the power and telecommunication industries.
American Pipe and Plastics' AMFO Multi-Conduit System is designed for fiber optic cable, coaxial cable and small diameter copper cable installation. It can be direct buried or encased in concrete.
The system consists of multiple sections of conduit in 20-foot laying lengths with tapered belled socket. Conduit is available in Schedule 40 or SDR 21 and comes in 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2" nominal diameters.
This rigid conduit system is factory assembled with specially designed and patented snap clip systems which will insure a pre-aligned duct system at an economical cost. Belled ends are tapered to close tolerances. Spigot ends are chamfered for easy entry when joining and cementing sections together.
The joint when properly cemented, produces a water and air tight duct system. This system allows for either a "rodding or blowing" method of fiber optic cable installation.
The system is available in 2, 3, 4, and 6-way configurations with accompanying bends, sweeps, and accessories.
AMFO is REU/RUS listed.
